In the framework of #ShapiNG, FEUP held a set of activities related to Industry 4.0 🏭 in “Visionarium”. During three days, students learned how to program an automated vehicle, operated and instructed a mechanical arm 🦾 to pick up and place ingredients. Ultimately these young students discovered how 3D printing can be used in industrial environments.

Laboratory for Manufacturing Systems and Automation (LMS) from the University of Patras in partnership with 3rd General Lyceum of Korinthos held a series of online seminars, webinars, workshops and open days.During these activities, students ranging between the ages of 15 and 18, got introduced to the role of the engineer and the skills and competencies required in the manufacturing industry and, in particular in production. During the delivered workshops, the demonstration of Additive Manufacturing and AR/VR technologies carried out remotely in real-time.Special thanks to the Director Antonios Stavropoulos!
